Over $350,000 raised for at-risk youth in our community since 2017!

On Sunday, June 2, 2024, the Rotary Club of Glendale held it’s 7th Annual Cars for Cops & Kids Car Show. The event was supported by dozens of local businesses and helped raise over $55,000 for at-risk youth and mental health programs in the city of Glendale.

The event drew 200+ cars to the green grass of Verdugo Park and attendees were treated to gourmet burgers, authentic tacos, and ice cold beer. Children enjoyed a rock wall and face painting. The Scouts of Verdugo Hills Council held their annual Pinewood Derby where scouts raced their customized cars down a ramp.

Councilmembers Najarian and Gharpetian were there among other city dignitaries to meet and greet with their constituents. The Police Chief Cid was also present along with dozens of police officers to mingle with the crowds and enjoy the beautiful day with the community.

The success of the event is due to the generosity of our sponsors, the efforts of our volunteers, the support of the local car community and the presence of individuals and families who come to enjoy the event and meet our sponsors. The community comes together and funds are raised for vital youth programs all while having fun in the park. What could be better than that?
