WE’VE HELPED RAISE CLOSE OVER  $75,000 FOR AT-RISK YOUTH THROUGH THE GLENDALE POLICE FOUNDATION GLENDALE UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT HEALTHY FAMILIES

On Sunday June 2, 2019, The Rotary Club of Glendale-Noon raised funds for At-Risk Youth through the Glendale Police Foundation and Glendale Unified School District Healthy Families program at its third annual Cars for Cops & Kids event. Over 700 people attended and viewed 241 classic, exotic, and hot rod cars parked on the grass in the cool shade of the sycamore trees of Verdugo Park.

Councilmember Vartan Gharpetian was there in his vintage BMW convertible along with fellow  Councilmembers Paula Devine, Vartan Gharapetian and Mayor Ara Najarian all of whom took a moment to speak and praise the event for gathering the community together and successfully raising funds for the at-risk youth in the city of Glendale.

The event co-chairs, Edwin Voskanian and Lt. Oscar Rodriguez are already looking forward raising even more for the Police and School programs with an even bigger event in 2020.
