On Saturday, November 21st, Crescenta Valley High School’s Rotary Interact Club showed the Honolulu Senior Apartment how thankful they are for the senior citizens. Interact bought some senior citizens their groceries for the week, and the club decided to spread some holiday cheer and bought 2o mini poinsettias and chocolate boxes, from the local Trader Joes, to surprise the citizens. They handed it to them at their doors, eager to wish them a happy holidays.
During these times, people have lost human connection and interaction; by surprising them and handing them an early holiday gift, Interact was able to make their day and bring smiles to their faces. Interact was beyond thrilled they were able to touch their hearts and spread happiness, as everyone needs a little more love these days.
