On Sunday, June 5, 2022, The Rotary Club of Glendale-Noon held the 5th Annual Cars for Cops and Kids Car Show at Glendale’s beautiful Verdugo Park.

Over 240 cars and hundreds of visitors helped make the event a huge success. The event features a large assortment of classic, performance, exotic and special interest cars parked on the green grass under the shade of the sprawling Sycamore trees. Crowds lined up for gourmet burgers from Rounds, Mexican street tacos, fresh eloté and Kona ice and a wide variety of activities including rock climbing, face painting and playing video games on a mega-screen!

Special guests, Steven and Armik Aghakhanian were there with their GT race car and visitors were treated to the roar of it’s massive engine.

With the help of event sponsors and car registrants, the club raised  a total of $61,085 of which the net proceeds will be given to programs benefitting at-risk youth run by the Glendale Police and Fire Departments, the Glendale Unified School District, Glendale Parks and Recreation and more.

All in all the event was a tremendous success and club members are looking forward to the first Sunday of June 2023 to an even bigger and better show!
